CSL Behring operates three state-of-the-art manufacturing sites in Bern, Switzerland; Marburg, Germany; and Kankakee, Illinois, United States. All sites are operated in accordance with international quality and safety standards.

At each site, thousands of units of plasma are combined into a plasma pool. Each lot produced is tested again prior to purification.

Each plasma-derived protein has its own characteristics regarding physio-chemical sensitivity. Therefore, not all virus inactivation/removal procedures are employed for every product.

We, therefore, integrate purification steps and virus inactivation and elimination procedures to achieve highly effective and safe products.
