International Symposium on Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine

The International Symposium on Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine (ISTCEM) is organized by the department of Intensive Care Emergency Medicine of Erasme Hospital, Free University of Brussels, in association with the Belgian Society of Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine (SIZ). The meeting is held every year in March, in Brussels. Started in 1980, this meeting has become one of the largest in its field, now attracting more than 5,000 worldwide participants.
